Having an economically, racially and socially diverse group of parents, adopted children and adoptive parents, The Barker Foundation wanted to showcase this diversity in their identity. To celebrate the diverse nature of the foundation Ace Inc. thought it appropriate to find a unifying symbol that all cultures could relate to without becoming commercially appealing and maintaining the foundations professional principles. Fireworks being a symbol of celebration worldwide, Ace Inc. thought what better way to symbolize the impact of adopting a child. To coincide with the new identity, Ace Inc. redesigned their monthly newsletter putting focus on the graphics to drive home the emotional connection with readers.
